Our flagship product, the Evvsentials Bag, offers women a thoughtfully curated collection of mini must-haves to help them stay prepared for whatever daily life throws their way. This compact, reusable canvas pouch comes filled with essentials like mints, tampons, tweezers, tissues, and more. It can be personalized with an initial or name. While you might find similar bags out there, the Evvsentials Bag stands apart with its core mission: using every purchase to generate profits that directly support families in need and build toward our future non-profit foundation. It's preparedness with a purpose.
Our Story: A Journey from ER to Essentials for Good
The idea for an "essentials bag" isn't new to me—I've carried one packed and ready since high school. My friends used to joke that I was prepared for absolutely everything, even suggesting I probably had a kitchen sink in there! They'd often nudge me about selling these curated bags, but I always brushed it off as just a quirky habit.

My true calling, however, profoundly shifted after eight years in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room. When I transitioned to becoming a School Nurse, it pulled on my heartstrings in ways the ER never did. In the school setting, I've come face-to-face with the unfathomable circumstances many children and their families navigate daily, often through no fault of their own. Witnessing their quiet resilience amidst such challenges ignited a deep desire within me to find a tangible way to support them.

Initially, I dreamed of starting a non-profit. Yet, I quickly realized the significant time, resources, and funding required to establish such an organization. My desire to make an immediate difference was strong, and I needed a quicker path to get help to those in need. It was during this period of pondering how to kickstart my non-profit dream that the idea clicked: why not combine my lifelong habit of preparedness with my newfound passion for community support? That's when I decided to leverage my own "essentials bag" concept—and eventually other items I personally craft—to get the ball rolling. EvvPrep became that quicker, more direct way to start making an impact.

I work closely with our school's Community Outreach Coordinator, who tirelessly connects families with vital resources. Still, there are often gaps; situations where families don't quite qualify for existing programs, or when the available support simply isn't enough to meet their unique and pressing needs. EvvPrep is designed to fill those gaps, offering a direct, dignified, and sustained channel to provide assistance to families when they need it most, without them having to ask for handouts. Every Evvsentials Bag sold becomes a powerful step toward building a stronger, more supportive community.
